The cottage
Little Lilac Cottage is situated in the historic and picturesque Peak District village of Castleton. The charming and stone-built cottage is the perfect spot for small families or couples to enjoy a weekend break or longer stay.
Cosy sitting room
The sitting room is full of character and charm. It features include a log burning fire, exposed beams and a super comfy sofa and armchair to settle into after exploring the peaks. The sofa can also be pulled out and used as a double sofa bed and there’s a smart TV so you can cuddle up and watch a film in the evening.
Master bedroom
The master bedroom takes comfort to a whole new level - the memory foam, queen size, cloud like mattress is framed by a padded headboard, which makes it the perfect place to read your favourite book or catch up on some peaceful sleep. There’s a wardrobe and a set of draws, where you can store your clothing during your stay.
Luxury bathroom
The large en-suite bathroom is complete with a roll top bath, the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing soak, under floor heating, to keep your toes warm in those winter months, and a powerful walk-in shower.
Kitchen diner
The kitchen is fully functioning with an oven, hob, fridge, toaster and kettle, so if you did want to cook delicious homemade meals in the comfort of Little Lilac Cottage you could easily do so. Just off the kitchen there’s also a mini utility room/side entrance, where those muddy walking boots can be stored after long days exploring the stunning Peak District.
Outside the cottage
The front of the cottage has a lovely stone flagged terrace area, complete with a wrought iron bench. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy a drink, maybe a hot chocolate or glass of wine (depending on the weather) and watch the little world of Castleton go by while taking in the breath-taking views surrounding the village. There’s also the bonus of off-road parking directly in front of the property.
